 Stevenage FC had returned to League Two, following a brief spell back in the Conference, the season before. They had a fantastic season, finishing 6th overall. They had changed their squad vastly, between the two seasons and signed a couple of high profile loan players, such as Keith Keane, Kevin Lisbie and Bruno Andrade. Defender/Midfielder Charlie Lee finished as their top goal scorer, with nine league goals.
